Do you want to be a key figure in students' language development and contribute to their success in school? We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable study support tutor in Hungarian who wants to be part of our team!

What you will do

As a study support tutor, you play a central role in supporting students on their path towards educational goals. You work closely with teaching teachers and provide students with language support based on their individual prerequisites. In your assignment, you base your work on the student's previous school background, existing subject knowledge, and linguistic level in both Hungarian and Swedish.

Your work contributes directly to creating security, clarity, and study focus – every day.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who:

• Master Hungarian very well
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have good knowledge of the subjects included in the later years of primary school
• Have good IT skills and preferably experience with common school programs, e.g., Google Classroom
• Have experience in study support or pedagogical work (meritorious)

About us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The Administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is located at Tyringe School with a focus on grades 7-9. This provides good opportunities for collaboration and development in exciting assignments. In the area, we will work with three focus areas during the school year: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and security and study environment.

Tyringe School has a fantastic location centrally placed in Tyringe with proximity to nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. Close to the school area are also Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs Hov, a sports facility with a sports hall, ice hall, and bowling hall under the same roof. The school is located near the train and bus station. The principal's area is a 7-9 school with approx. 210 students. Tyringe School also has a preschool to grade 6 operation which is in its own principal's area. In the catchment area, there are also two smaller schools with preschool to grade 6 operations, Finja and Röke, as well as a preschool to grade 3 operation in Västra Torup. The collaboration between the principal's areas is of utmost importance for students' success.
