RESPONSIBILITIES

The position belongs to the Authority Function of the Care Section, where all authority exercises within social services are located. As a case worker, you will receive applications, gather material for investigations, make decisions, and follow up on all ongoing decisions. You will investigate, document, and file cases. We use the business system Treserva for all documentation. You also need to be able to plan your daily work independently and find structure in your day-to-day life. The responsibilities also include cross-sectoral collaboration, together with managers, colleagues, other departments, municipalities, and other principal authorities.

The work as a case worker requires the ability to listen, analyze, and make decisions that directly affect people's quality of life. As a case worker, you ensure that people with disabilities receive the support they need to live a good and meaningful life. This is work that requires both knowledge of the law and a deep understanding of each individual's unique needs. QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply for the position need to be a person who is engaged, cooperative, and willing to take responsibility for your tasks. You have good judgment and can make assessments in complex cases. You need to be able to convey information in a clear and informative way to those applying for services from us.

Requirements

• Social work degree or other equivalent education with a focus on social work as assessed by the employer
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious qualifications

• Knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL)
• Knowledge of the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS)
• Knowledge of the target group with a focus on disabilities
• Experience working as a case worker and with authority exercises
• Knowledge and experience working in the business system Treserva

The position is a fixed-term contract covering 100%. Possibility of extending the fixed-term contract may become relevant.

Interviews will take place during week 35; day and time will be determined after the application period.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start: ASAP or by agreement, End: 2026-12-31.
Working hours: Daytime.

At the interview, you need to present a passport, national identity card, or certificate of citizenship showing Swedish citizenship. You can easily download the certificate of citizenship via skatteverket.se.

If you are not a Swedish citizen, you need to present documents proving your right to work in Sweden.
