Our dear colleague is moving on to new adventures, so we are looking for a Team Leader at Active Academy!

About you as a candidate:

You have a background and experience in areas such as children's gymnastics, children's dance, group fitness, or other types of sports or cultural activities for children.

You have high energy and are responsible. You thrive working in a tight-knit, goal-oriented team. As a person, you focus heavily on quality and development, enjoy challenges, and view them positively.

We believe you are someone who thrives in an organization with a strong willingness to change, high tempo, and a solution-oriented approach. You easily see yourself in an environment characterized by Collaboration, Passion, Courage, and Responsibility.

We would appreciate it if you had previous experience in recruitment and coaching, as well as leadership experience in sports or experience leading young children.

About the job

You work in a tight team and ensure that operations maintain high quality.

Together, we work on recruiting leaders for our course concepts, as well as training and coaching our leaders in their leadership skills and course delivery.

You also work on following up on leaders' preparations before sessions and ensuring the quality of the operations. You ensure that all leaders have the materials they need and administer their salaries.

Much of the work takes place at our office in Växjö. However, you also spend time on quality assurance in the field, so we require you to have a B-driver's license.

The leaders you will be in contact with are located all over Sweden, which means that much of the coaching and contact with leaders is done via FaceTime, phone, Teams, and email. Travel and weekend work occur to some extent, although most working hours are during standard office times. However, during the initial course weekends for each course, you will work a number of Saturdays or Sundays to be on-site to support our leaders when operations are running.

Active Academy arranges various activities for children who want to get active together with their parents.

Every year, we have tens of thousands of participants in our various activities and courses across the country. The courses are led by our approximately 400 leaders, and operations are administered from our headquarters in Växjö with 8–9 employees.
