The Junior Category Buyer role involves managing assigned commodity categories to ensure compliance, quality, timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with the company budget and goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement the category strategy incl. spend & supplier base analysis, risk & compliance assessment, and regular executive report-out for decision alignment.

• Work closely with management, business stakeholders, and the procurement team to develop and implement roadmaps to achieve assigned cost saving targets and department KPIs.

• Conduct market benchmarking and analyze market trends to identify sourcing opportunities as well as cost-saving opportunities.

• Manage the end-to-end (E2E) procurement operational flow, including sourcing, terms and conditions negotiation, PO creation, supplier payment follow-up, and contract management.

• Develop and maintain procurement-related processes to secure influence in upstream decision-making.

• Manage supplier performance regarding compliance, quality, and on-time delivery.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to implement cost-reduction and process-improvement activities.

• Support the team with other assignments if required.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related fields

• Have good knowledge of the assigned category

• Possess a strong sense of both compliance and business

• Have a proven record in contract negotiation and supplier management

• Demonstrate a high level of analytical and presentation skills

• Have experience with ERP systems and are quick learners of digital tools

• Are solution-oriented with strong determination to solve complex problems

• Have a strong drive to go the extra mile and are stress-resistant

• Can deliver results in an unstructured environment

• Are a humble team player

• Have working experience in Europe; Fluent in English and Swedish, Mandarin is a plus
