About the Role

Are you looking for a role where you get the opportunity to work close to customers with significant responsibility for safety work? We at Securitas are currently looking for you who want to continue developing our customers' fire safety work.

Linköping is now strengthening its staffing of fire protection technicians on a full-time basis and is looking for you who want to join a tight team of about ten colleagues, starting September 1st.

As a fire protection technician, you will work in a customer-facing role responsible for servicing and reviewing products in the industry, as well as ensuring inspections are carried out according to agreements and current regulations. The role is varied with much practical work, such as servicing fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, but also other technical tasks such as new installations and repairs. The position will also involve conducting fire safety training, so you should be comfortable speaking in front of groups of people.

For example, you will:

• Present Securitas services and products and develop our customers' safety work.
• Conduct lectures.
• Carry out simple risk assessments and reviews of the customer's fire safety work.
• Place orders for products and services with our subcontractors.
• Perform monthly and quarterly fire alarm tests.
• Install common products.
• Provide advice and conduct inventories for customers.
• Help customers with SBA inspections (self-inspection).
• Create and document in the customer's web tool for SBA (MPS).

You are an independent and responsible person who thrives with both independent work and teamwork. You have an interest in giving lectures and feel comfortable in the role of an instructor. The position suits you who enjoy making new contacts and developing existing relationships to strengthen and further develop our delivery to the customer. Requirements

• Upper secondary education with a passing grade in Swedish.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good teamwork skills.

Merits:

• SMO training.
• Educational background or work experience within fire safety.
• Trained facility operator.
• Previous experience as a fire technician.

Personal Qualities:

• Accustomed to creating structure in your work and getting things done, both individually and in groups.
• Have a great interest in technology and easily understand instructions.
• Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others.
• Are solution-focused and can identify problems with corresponding solution proposals.
• Have a drive to educate and inform people about fire protection.
