Viggestorpsskolan – a place for learning, development, and community! We are a wonderful team looking for a new colleague.
Viggestorpsskolan is an F–6 school (grades 1–6) with approximately 350 students, organized into two classes per grade level and three units in the after-school program. We are currently looking for an after-school teacher. At Viggestorpsskolan, learning is at the forefront – here, every student gets the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and values that prepare them for the future.

- ensure students become active participants in their own learning and learn to take responsibility for their own knowledge development
- develop an equitable physical learning environment for students
- create safe and meaningful breaks
What can we offer you?
As an after-school teacher, you will conduct pedagogical activities that stimulate children's development and learning. You will work closely with the students and support them in their social development. You will have the opportunity to be part of our team working to create a safe and inspiring environment for the children. We offer continuous professional development and support to help you grow in your professional role.
Your future responsibilities
You will join the after-school team alongside qualified staff. You will share responsibility for the after-school activities with your colleagues to develop the pedagogical work. Other tasks are also included in the role, such as planning the activities together with the school's other staff to ensure they meet the students' needs.
The role also involves
The position includes working in the school during the morning as a resource support for physical education lessons and break-time activities. You will work together with the school's PE teacher who has planning responsibility for the lessons.
Who are you?
We prefer that you have a teaching license for after-school programs. If you are qualified in the subject of Physical Education and Health, we consider this an asset. You have a positive view of students, meaning you assume that students can and want to learn, and you build trusting relationships. You are structured, flexible, engaged, and have good communication skills. You have a solution-focused approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
