The Department of Culture and Media Studies is advertising a position as a Visiting University Lecturer in Literary Studies. The position is full-time and starts on January 1, 2027.
Job Description
The duties include teaching, supervision, examination, and professional development. The position primarily involves teaching and supervision at undergraduate and advanced levels in literary studies and creative writing. Additionally, teaching within the framework of teacher education may be included. Teaching takes place both on campus and remotely. The duties also include teaching-related administration, as well as personnel, subject, and planning meetings.
Professional development time is included and corresponds to 20% of working hours.
Qualifications for Appointment as University Lecturer
Eligible for appointment as a university lecturer is someone who has demonstrated pedagogical skill and has completed a doctoral degree in literary studies, or has equivalent scientific competence, or possesses other professional skills that are significant considering the subject content and duties of the position.
Good command of Swedish (or another Scandinavian language) and English, as well as the ability to teach in these languages, are requirements for the position.

Additional Information
The position is a full-time temporary appointment from January 1, 2027, to January 31, 2028.
