The Adult Social Services area consists of the Domestic Violence Team, two addiction units, administrative assistants, and a Business Developer. Each unit is led by a unit manager and also has group leaders. Together, we work to ensure that the residents of Järva receive the best possible support.
Within this operational area, active development work is carried out based on new and upcoming reforms and legislation, such as the new Social Services Act, the Joint Health Care Reform, and increased information exchange between authorities.

Your role
In the role of Business Developer, you provide qualified support to the area manager and unit managers, working closely with the area's leadership group. You play a central role in supporting operations to achieve their goals and driving development that strengthens support for adults living and visiting the district.
Responsibilities include, among other things:
- Responsibility for business planning, follow-up, environmental scanning, as well as investigations and analyses of operational results and development needs.
- Supporting area managers in development work, change management, and business development.
In this assignment, you proactively identify development opportunities, prepare well-founded decision-making materials, and turn ideas into concrete improvements. You coordinate, follow up, and report on development initiatives, and lead or participate in projects and assignments within the operational area.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- A degree in Social Work or another university degree that the employer considers equivalent.
- Experience in practical work with public authority duties within social services.
- Current and good knowledge of social services operational areas, their strategic challenges, and an interest in environmental scanning.
- Experience in business development and knowledge of change management.
- Experience in business planning and operational follow-up.
- Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Good IT skills.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with public authority duties in at least one of the following areas: harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, or social psychiatry.
- Good knowledge of upcoming legislation and reforms within the social services sector.
- Experience in coordinating, leading, or driving work in groups.
- Experience working within the Järva district area.
