Are you a licensed biomedical laboratory scientist with a special passion for clinical physiology? Are you looking for a stimulating workplace where you have the opportunity to develop and broaden your skills? Then you are warmly welcome to join us!

At the Clinical Physiology Laboratory at Skaraborg Hospital, we are part of the cardiology operations within operational area 8. We perform diagnostic examinations on patients with symptoms from the heart, lungs, brain, and blood vessels, and we serve the entire Skaraborg region.

We offer great opportunities for varied tasks and provide a dynamic and stimulating workplace where you can work with advanced medical technology in a highly specialized environment. We are a committed team of 15 biomedical laboratory scientists, 1 nursing assistant, and 6 medical secretaries who work closely with doctors from cardiology and other specialist fields. We are an important part of the hospital's operations and always strive to develop and improve our work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic physiological examinations such as exercise tests, ultrasound of the heart/vessels, long-term ECG, lung function tests, EEG, and pacemaker clinics.
• Work in a cross-professional team together with cardiologists, lung specialists, vascular surgeons, and other hospital staff.
• Contribute to a learning and developing work environment where competence and operational development are a natural part of everyday life.
• Handle and use advanced medical technology in daily work.

Qualifications

• Licensed biomedical laboratory scientist.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Interest in development, innovation, and a positive attitude towards change.
• Quality-conscious, responsible, and contributes to a good work environment.
• Experience in clinical physiology is meritorious but not a requirement.
