What is it like to work on the orthopedic department?

Do you want to work in a setting where you see the results of your work daily? On our orthopedic side, you will meet patients with clear care and rehabilitation goals, where progress in recovery is often tangible. This makes the work both meaningful and motivating. On our infectious disease side, you will meet patients with various types of infections, where treatment often leads to good results, allowing patients to return home.

As a nursing assistant here, you will have varied working days with a mix of short and longer care periods. You work closely with patients in their care and rehabilitation, in close collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other professions. The role also involves using and handling medical technology equipment that is a natural part of our care.

We offer a secure work environment where we work together in teams and support each other in daily tasks. You will receive a structured introduction supported by experienced colleagues and work with modern aids as well as well-functioning routines and guidelines. The operation is characterized by cross-professional collaboration and ongoing development and improvement work. The workplace is located on the eighth floor in bright and fine premises with ergonomic workstations and fantastic views.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you work with all common tasks on the care ward, such as personal care, meal support, sampling, checks, observations, as well as documentation and reporting of the patient's condition. You assist nurses and doctors with examinations and treatments and contribute to a safe and secure care environment for patients and their relatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a nursing assistant education or equivalent competence. You have a genuine interest in care and enjoy working close to the patient. You thrive in collaboration across professional boundaries but can also work independently and take responsibility in your work. Experience in orthopedic and/or infectious disease care or work within inpatient care is meritorious but not a requirement. We value that you are engaged, flexible, have good communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to the development of the operation.

Other Information

The work is scheduled during days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
