Description

The Neurology Clinic works with both primary care and inpatient care. The activity focuses primarily on patients with epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease. The team includes nurses, doctors, neuropsychologists, speech-language pathologists (logopedists), physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, coordinators, and medical secretaries. In our multidisciplinary team, we have the opportunity to collaborate through short handling pathways when treating patients with multiple illnesses.

The activities at Angered Primary Care Hospital (ANS) are driven by patient needs. The service should be diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and strongly quality-driven. Active smoking cessation is a key cornerstone in the hospital's health promotion work.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include clinic work involving neuro-linguistic assessments and treatment, both individually and in groups.

At the workplace, you will have your own clinic but will also be part of teams focused on adults with acquired neurological injuries.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (Logoped) is required.
• Experience working with adult neuro-linguistics is required.
• Knowledge of LSVT is desirable.
• Experience in assessing and treating aphasia, dysarthria, and dysphagia, as well as group therapy, is advantageous.
• Experience performing FUS (Functional Upper Limb Assessment/Training) is required.

60% position from 2026-10-01 to 2027-06-30, with a possible extension.
