Development Manager

We are now looking for a Development Manager for the principal's quality and development organization. This is a role for you who wants to combine strategic development work with close operational support and is motivated by turning analysis, research, and proven experience into concrete development.

About the Role

As a Development Manager, you are part of the principal's quality organization and work both strategically and operationally to develop the quality of our educational activities.

Your main task is to lead quality-improving processes that strengthen the organization's analytical capacity, learning, and results. Through quality dialogues, educational initiatives, follow-up, and analysis, you contribute to developing the quality of teaching, strengthening equity, and increasing goal fulfillment for our children, students, and learners.

In the role, you are also responsible for coordinating the group's lead teachers, supporting the development organizations of the operations, and developing and ensuring the quality of the principal's guidelines, routines, and processes within the student health area.

You will:

  • Lead and develop quality-improving processes within the framework of the principal's systematic quality work.
  • Plan, implement, and further develop the principal's quality dialogues.
  • Coordinate and develop the group's work with lead teachers as a strategic resource for teaching development.
  • Evaluate, develop, and ensure the quality of guidelines, routines, and support materials within the student health area.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within the areas of responsibility of the assignment.
  • Plan, lead, and conduct major development and learning processes in both physical and digital formats.
  • Compile, analyze, and present quality materials and decision support to management.

We are looking for you who

Have a pedagogical university degree and experience of leading and developing teaching and student health work as a principal and/or special needs educator. You have good knowledge of the regulations and tasks of upper secondary school, systematic quality work, and the School Act's provisions on student health, special support, and the principal's responsibility.

You have several years of experience in planning and leading educational and learning processes in larger organizations and are well acquainted with current research in school development, improvement, and change management. Your administrative and digital skills are high, and you are accustomed to working systematically with the analysis, follow-up, and documentation of complex information.

Location and Scope

The position has a hybrid setup; you can be based in any location in Sweden but are expected to work from one of our offices in Malmö or Stockholm about one to two days per week. The rest of the time, the work can be performed remotely.

The work involves regular travel within the country, both with and without overnight stays.

A driver's license (Category B) is a requirement.
