Job Description
We are looking for a teacher in Home and Consumer Studies (HCS) and English at Rönnenskolan. The position is 80%.
We are looking for you who want to work as a teacher in HCS and English in grades 7-9 at Rönnenskolan and work together with us to create "Every Student's Best School" for our students! You will have a position corresponding to approximately 50% HCS and 30% English. You will be part of a team of teachers where you together are responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trust-based environment.
You will become a mentor for a class together with a mentor colleague. You are jointly responsible for monitoring the students' knowledge development and attendance at school, as well as working for their well-being and safety at school. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's knowledge development through regular development meetings. In your role as a teacher, you conduct varied and creative teaching, both individually and in teams, find strategies to reach every student, and contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work.
Qualifications
You who apply are a certified teacher with qualifications for teaching in grades 7-9 in the subjects Home and Consumer Studies and English. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider this an advantage.
You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good familiarity and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
