Ljungenskolan comprises grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9), an after-school center, and Vellinge Municipality's adapted primary school, which we often refer to as "Superskolan." The school is located in the scenic area of Ljunghusen and has good bus connections from Malmö.

Ljungenskolan is a school for all students. Here, everyone has a place and is given the opportunity to develop regardless of gender, functional diversity, origin, or identity. We have 550 students and 100 staff members. Together, we are fantastic!

Job Responsibilities

Ljungenskolan is seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish and English. You will be part of the team for grades 7–9 and serve as a mentor for grade 9 during the 2026/2027 school year.

At Ljungenskolan, we place great emphasis on a relational approach. We expect you to naturally maintain close relationships with your students, seeing them and being there for them when they need you. We have many motivated and ambitious students who need your help balancing their young lives: achieving excellent academic results, top performances in sports and culture, and inner peace.

We expect you to apply a low-arousal approach in line with Ross Greene's CPS (Collaborative Proactive Solution).

You are comfortable with digital learning tools and use them actively in your teaching. If there is anything you do not yet know, you have the desire and willingness to learn.

We are looking for a dedicated educator who puts the student's learning and well-being at the center. You collaborate well with all professional roles within the school. You are interested in school development and would like to work at one of Sweden's absolute best schools alongside driven educators!
