About the RoleYou will step into a central role in a complex and business-critical IT environment where major incidents need to be handled quickly, structured, and with full transparency. Here you will lead the work when it really matters and ensure that the impact on the business is minimized as much as possible.
You become the hub between the Service Desk, application management, operations, and external suppliers. From the first signal to solution, follow-up, and improvement, you drive incident management forward with clarity and security. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want a role with great responsibility, many contact points, and direct impact on the stability and quality of a critical IT delivery.
Responsibilities- You lead and coordinate the handling of Major Incidents from detection to solution and follow-up.
- You drive fast and correct escalation to the right technical resources based on the incident's impact and priority.
- You maintain communication with operational teams, suppliers, and management during ongoing incidents.
- You follow up on incidents with a focus on root cause analysis and improvement measures.
- You ensure that incident management follows ITIL processes and internal governance models.
- You collaborate with external suppliers and follow up that agreed service levels are met.
- You contribute to continuous improvements in incident management and readiness.
- You participate in on-call duties according to an agreed rotation model.
- You have experience in Incident Management or Major Incident Management in larger IT environments.
- You have good knowledge of ITIL, especially within Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- You can lead and coordinate work in critical situations without formal personnel responsibility.
- You are structured, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented in a high-paced work environment.
- You have very good communication skills and can adapt your message to different target groups.
- You have a holistic view of IT and understand dependencies between different systems and services.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
- Experience in environments with multiple suppliers and sourcing models.
- Experience handling business-critical incidents with high impact.
- Habit of communicating with management and other stakeholders under time pressure.
- Experience with root cause analysis and improvement work.
- Certification in ITIL or similar frameworks.
- Experience from retail or other business-critical operations.
