WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WORK WITH US?

We are now looking for a teacher for Fornbyskolan. Here, you are welcomed into a strong team where we jointly develop teaching based on our students' needs and our competencies. You will become part of a three- or four-teacher system and share mentorship with your colleagues. We are currently working on language development and cooperative working attitudes.

You, as a candidate, share our view that learning and social skills are best developed through interaction with others. You want to be part of creating a safe environment that helps your students meet learning challenges in the best possible way. We believe in everyone's ability to succeed, that differences are an asset, and that all students have the right to develop in their learning.

Working in a small municipality creates good collaborations between schools and other activities within the municipality. Currently, we are participating in a project with Mälardalen University to develop teaching. KoOLT is based on assessing and developing teaching using given templates.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are/have:

• A certified teacher with qualifications to teach in grades 3-4
• Good knowledge of the curriculum and course plans
• Good knowledge and experience of pedagogical documentation to follow up and evaluate operations
• Pedagogical awareness and knowledge to interpret and concretize all goals of the curriculum

Your commitment and genuine curiosity are contagious, affecting both your students and colleagues. You work from a holistic view of the child's development, where play and learning are of great importance. As a person, you are unpretentious, willing to share your knowledge, and open to learning more from others. It is natural for you to contribute to and be part of the school's systematic quality work.

You are a clear and present leader, both inside and outside the classroom. You have a positive basic attitude and a solution-oriented approach, always with the student's best interest in focus. You treat everyone equally and are consistent and fair in your decisions. By creating a secure foundation, you want to give students the best possible conditions for learning and achieving their knowledge goals.

You understand how a student's life situation affects them in school, and you adapt your interaction based on the student and the situation. You are sensitive, attentive, and have a positive view of people. You open up to others and value creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Relationship building and collegial learning are important to us, both within the school and throughout the municipality, which we utilize with, among other things, municipality-wide subject groups once a month for all our teachers. Here, as a newly hired teacher, whether senior or newly graduated, you get a mentor from among your teaching colleagues who guides you through the school's routines and ways of working. You are invited to an introduction day for all new hires in Trosa Municipality, where you will experience the municipality on a guided bus tour through the operations. During the introduction day, you will learn more about how the municipality works and meet the various operational managers and other colleagues within the municipality.
