Hököpinge School

Hököpinge School started its operations in August 2019. The first students, the cohort of children born in 2013, began their studies then. Since then, the school has filled up from the bottom up and grown by one cohort each year. This academic year, the school consists of students from preschool class to year 6. By the 2028/2029 academic year, the school is planned to be fully expanded as a grades F-9 school with space for 550 students.

Our school was completed in August 2023 when we moved into completely new, untouched premises.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a school where every student feels seen, heard, and inspired? We are looking for an engaged teacher who wants to help develop our educational activities and contribute to the construction of our future upper secondary level (grades 7-9). Together with us, you will build a school where relationships are the foundation for learning and development.

The position covers approximately 80% during the upcoming academic year. As the school is under development, the position may eventually transition into a full-time position as an art teacher. However, during the initial period, you will also need to teach in another subject.

Together with your colleagues, you will stimulate students' development by creating a meaningful and secure school day. You see possibilities in every student and work actively to build strong relationships with both students and guardians, which is crucial for a successful school career.

Qualifications

You are a certified comprehensive school teacher with qualifications in art for teaching in the higher grades. As a pedagogue, you are responsible, engaged, and have a relational approach where the student is always at the center.

You meet every student with respect and see the individual's needs and conditions. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and can implement them in practice in a way that creates meaningful learning. With a solution-focused attitude and an analytical approach, you work systematically to achieve high results.

We are looking for someone who is idea-rich, flexible, and good at collaborating. You have a professional and positive demeanor towards both colleagues, students, and guardians.
