About the Workplace

Kungsfiskareskolan is a preschool class to grade 6 school where we work purposefully to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for all students.

We believe in strong relationships, high expectations, and collegial learning where we develop teaching together. Kungsfiskareskolan is located in the eastern parts of Klippan and is predominantly a three-stream F-6 school with approximately 420 students.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and creative after-school center teacher who wants to help develop our after-school activities in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and the After-School Centre (Lgr22). As an after-school center teacher with us, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in the after-school center.
• Create stimulating learning environments that promote students' desire to play, explore, and learn.
• Actively work with students' social development and sense of security by guiding and creating structures that students need, and by being a present adult.
• Collaborate with other professions with the students' best interests in focus.
• Work as a class resource during parts of the school day, actively contributing to students' learning and security in the classroom.

Personal suitability with education deemed suitable by the employer is crucial for the position.

Qualifications

• Teacher certification as a primary teacher in the after-school center (grundlärare i fritidshemmet).
