Job Responsibilities

As a craft teacher (slöjd teacher) with us, you have a creative and dynamic role. You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching according to the current curriculum.

Your goal is to ignite the joy of creation and develop students' skills. You lead lessons where practical craftsmanship meets digital and sustainable thinking.

The role includes individualizing instruction and assessing student results. You are responsible for a safe working environment and the secure handling of tools in the workshop.

Purchasing, material maintenance, and organization in the craft room are natural parts of daily life. You collaborate closely with your colleagues in the work team regarding student development.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for you who are a certified craft teacher. You have good knowledge of current regulatory documents and possess a high level of safety awareness regarding machines and tools to guarantee a safe working environment in the craft room. As a person, you are a secure and structured leader who can create a calm study atmosphere while inspiring creativity and the joy of making. Since the work involves a lot of collaboration, we place great emphasis on your ability to work in teams and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are communicative, flexible, and experienced in using digital tools for documentation.
