RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 4-6. You love working on the strengthening work around the students at Snapphaneskolan who need your special support. You are interested in becoming part of our Special Support Team, which includes two additional special education teachers and a special needs educator. Together with other educators, you will plan and develop support for our students.

In your role as a mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for working with mathematics with students in smaller groups or working together with teachers in the classroom. You will schedule your work based on the needs that you in the special support team, together with the principal, see in the school. The assignment may also include providing tasks for students who need different materials, conducting assessments, creating screenings, taking responsibility for investigations, and analyzing results for our systematic quality work, etc.

We are a wonderful collegium where different professions such as teachers, special needs educators, special education teachers in mathematics/Swedish/English, school counselors, social pedagogues, resource persons, and others are represented. We have a student health team that meets every week. We also have access to a school psychologist who continuously sits in our student health team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 4-6. It is meritorious if you have experience from special education assignments previously.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are a calm and secure person with high personal maturity. The tasks place high demands on your ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and have good cooperation skills. You have good self-insight, are secure in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership, and have a good ability to take leadership. You have high expectations of the students, believe that everyone can succeed, and are willing to create the best conditions for our students. It is necessary that you are a person who does not give up, but who has the ability to hold on and endure in your work. You have the ability to structure, plan, and prioritize your tasks yourself, and you have no problem working independently. You have a well-developed communicative and pedagogical ability, and we also believe that you have a high ability to develop good relationships. You are structured and are used to documenting. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities with a focus on leadership, social competence, and initiative.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well in both speech and writing.

An extract from the police's criminal record for preschool and school must be presented before employment can be offered.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-11 or according to agreement, end date: 2027-06-16.
Working hours: Holiday service
