Mariefred School, with 650 wonderful students, is a grades F-9 school located in the heart of the dynamic idyll of Mariefred. We have positive employees and engaged managers who want to further develop the school's student-active climate. You will be part of a work team that strives for collegial learning and good collaboration with a strong focus on students.

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for grade 6. The position is a fixed-term employment during the school year 2026/2027. For the following school year, organizational changes are planned that will result in a reduced need for teachers in grades 4-6. The position is therefore time-limited, and at present, we do not see an opportunity for extension.

Job Responsibilities

Your assignment consists of planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in your subjects. Mentorship and other usual tasks for teachers are included. You will be part of a work team where you together create a safe, fun, and challenging operation, actively working to support and motivate students in their development, both socially and academically.

You will have knowledgeable and engaged colleagues with whom you will develop teaching and operations with the children's best interests in mind. We believe that classroom leadership has a crucial significance for student results. We prioritize good treatment for everyone and we believe in our students' ability to succeed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A teacher's degree with a valid teaching license in Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies subjects.
• Good ability to use digital tools in your teaching.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Previous experience from working in primary school or other relevant professional experience.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we place great emphasis on them. As a person, we are looking for you who are engaged and positive with good leadership qualities. You have a good ability to collaborate, are good at building relationships, and value good treatment. Furthermore, you have a great interest in each individual student's development and you understand the importance of adapting teaching to students' needs.
