Rekarnegymnasiet is Eskilstuna's largest upper secondary school with approximately 1,300 students and 120 employees. The school is located in a beautiful natural setting near the Kronskogen nature area, just under a kilometer outside of Eskilstuna center. We offer education in the areas of construction, electricity, vehicles, childcare and leisure, plumbing, economics, social sciences, natural sciences, and the Introduction Programme.

We are Eskilstuna's sports gymnasium where all teaching is permeated by a health perspective with sports and health in focus. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach in Childcare and Leisure on the Introduction Programme. You will be part of the IM work team. You are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students' knowledge prior to grading. You also have mentoring responsibilities for the students and follow their development towards the school's goals, both socially and academically. Internship coordination and program area responsibility are also part of the job. Of course, you also collaborate with guardians and other authorities in relevant cases. You will contribute to systematic quality work and work closely with the school's student health services to create a safe environment for our students.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teacher's degree and certification with eligibility to teach in childcare and leisure subjects at the upper secondary level. It is also acceptable if you are currently completing a teacher education program and will graduate shortly. You have experience in teaching and practical work based on the current curriculum (GY11 and GY25), through work or vocational training (VFU).

Using digital tools as part of your teaching is, of course, something you are accustomed to.
