About the role and your responsibilities

As an investigating social secretary, you work with investigating, approving, and following up on interventions. We engage in genuine social work, taking the time to meet people, listen, and see how we can contribute to helping people create change. The work is performed independently, giving you the opportunity to structure and plan your day yourself. If needed, the work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues. We base our work on the assessment methodologies ASI (Addiction Severity Index) and RBM (risk, need, and responsiveness).

Case recording is done in Lifecare.

There is an opportunity to work from home according to agreement and the conditions of the operations.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you with a degree in social work. We would appreciate it if you had experience in public authority work that has given you insight and knowledge in this area. We value that you combine your commitment with a calm demeanor and have the ability to prioritize and structure your work. At the same time, you are flexible and can adapt when the needs of the operations affect your planning. If you have experience and knowledge of the assessment methodologies ASI and RBM, this is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you are accustomed to working with Lifecare as it will facilitate your entry into the work.

You treat people with respect and handle your public authority role responsibly by focusing on and analyzing the most essential information to handle your cases in different situations.

About the workplace

The Adult Investigation Unit handles reports and applications from persons aged 25 or older. The target group has varying degrees of social problems and harmful use and addiction.

The work group currently consists of 10 social secretaries. You will receive an introduction to the work, good opportunities for competence development, and support from your colleagues, senior social secretary, and manager. Our unit is characterized by a positive spirit, and we are committed to finding the best support for our users.
