Vattenfall Eldistribution is at the heart of the energy transition and plays a central role in the powerful electrification taking place in society. We are building the grid of the future today and operate a society-critical infrastructure that distributes just over half of all electricity produced in Sweden. We are now looking for a Project Control Specialist.

Here, you will become part of the Project Performance and Support department, with the vision of being a reference point for others inside and outside the company regarding subject matter matters thanks to our knowledge, structure, efficiency, and the good, adapted service we provide. I am the department manager, Léni Litgård-Maot. I strongly believe that collaboration and trust are key to success.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As a Project Control Specialist, you will belong to a project office tasked with creating good conditions for effective project execution and supporting decision-makers in managing the operational investment portfolio. We are responsible for knowledge areas related to project control, time and resource planning, risk management, information security, and system development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support program managers and other colleagues with operational project control (scheduling, resource planning, risk management, information management, etc.) as well as with routines and tool/system issues.
• Drive, quality assure, and develop our program and project control methodology within the knowledge areas we are responsible for.
• Manage our program and project control model.

Requirements

• Relevant academic education, or other education or experience considered equivalent.
• Experience in project management within change management, change projects, or business development.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in risk management.
• Experience in continuity management.
• Certification within PMI (PMP), Prince2, IPMA, or equivalent certification.
• Project quality assurance.
• Experience with ISO.
• Experience in program and project control, as well as within our or a related industry.
