We are looking for an accountant for a consultancy assignment with our client in Luleå or Skellefteå. If you have experience working with housing cooperatives (BRF) and enjoy customer contact, this might be the assignment for you.

About the assignment

• Assignment period: August to December, with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

You will serve as an accountant for approximately 35 clients, primarily consisting of housing cooperatives, but also commercial property owners and municipalities. On behalf of our clients, you will act as the internal purchaser for ongoing bookkeeping, as well as the preparation of budgets and annual accounts. You will work with the transition to the K3 accounting standards, analyses, investment calculations, liquidity planning, fee planning, debt strategies, and coordination from an economic perspective to ensure the association has a long-term sustainable and robust economy. You will also present annual reports, budgets, and forecasts to the boards. The role includes identifying new needs and developing a long-term partnership with the client based on these insights.

Furthermore, you will be the contact person for boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and others regarding financial matters.

Requirements

You have a university degree in economics or equivalent. We expect that you have worked with various parts of finance and have a few years of experience from closing accounts/financial reporting.

We are looking for someone interested in customer contact and who has the ability to identify and meet customer needs while acting professionally. You have the ability to create an open and trust-building dialogue, as well as good collaboration both internally and externally. Furthermore, it is important that you can look beyond the immediate tasks and develop long-term sustainable strategies for the client's financial management. You need to be analytical, structured, and self-initiating.

The position requires a valid driver's license (Category B) and involves some meetings during evening hours.
