We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join EDGE Associates, based in Stockholm!

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer who wants to take the next step in their career. With us, you will play a central role in projects that build modern, cloud-based solutions and business-critical applications.

You will immediately start working on assignments within exciting client projects. Here, you will work closely with our clients while becoming a key figure in our global delivery model.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

✔️ At least 5 years of experience in Java development

✔️ At least 3 years of experience with microservice architecture

✔️ Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks

✔️ Strong knowledge of Git, Maven, and similar modern tools such as Gradle

✔️ At least 5 years of experience working in agile teams

✔️ Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

The following qualifications are a plus:

➕ Experience with frontend development in Vue, React, Angular, or similar.

➕ At least 3 years of experience developing in a Linux environment

➕ Knowledge of accessibility standards according to WCAG 2.1.

➕ At least 1 year of experience building, operating, and monitoring systems in container-based environments such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar.

➕ Experience with API management via WSO2 and microservices.

➕ At least 1 year of experience with SAML2, the OpenID family, or OAuth 2.0

➕ At least 1 year of knowledge regarding SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions

➕ At least 1 year of experience with Kafka or similar asynchronous message queues

➕ Experience in developing open-source software
