We need to strengthen our work within safety in the Water and Wastewater (VA) sector and are now looking for an engaged Safety Administrator who will organizationally belong to the Unit for Safety and Working Environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Safety Administrator with us, you will play an important role in the development and implementation of short- and long-term safety work. You report to the Head of Unit for Safety and Working Environment at VA, but work closely with other colleagues with similar tasks within the company. You support the VA operations in daily work and develop an understanding of how needs look at our producing and distributing facilities. As a Safety Administrator, you work operationally with a focus on structure, order, and quality, in close collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization.

The responsibilities include:

Administrative support related to safety
Registry maintenance
Initial investigations
Closing and follow-up meetings
Safety checks
Management of functional mailbox
Active participation in the team's development and improving work processes to increase efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a clear focus on improvement and development. You are curious, see what can be done better, and contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen both working methods and results. You are used to handling multiple issues and putting them in context to drive the issues in the best way. You are listening and inclusive in your approach and have a desire to develop and work for the company's best interest. You have good communication skills, are receptive, and confident in dialogue with colleagues throughout the organization. Being able to plan, drive, and follow up on your tasks are key competencies in this role.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

Relevant education or equivalent work experience
Experience in administrative safety work, preferably within public operations
Experience in registry management, safety checks, and documentation
Experience in conducting simpler investigations or fact-finding
Experience working in case management systems or similar
Good understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and handling of sensitive information
Good IT skills and experience working in various systems
Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish

A B-driver's license is considered an advantage.

The position is a permanent placement at the headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma, but you will also move between our plants in Henriksdal, Bromma, Lovö, and Norsborg, as well as the office in Högdalen. Company cars are available.
