About the workplace

We are a preschool class to grade 9 school with approximately 400 students and 50 employees. At Gantofta School, the staff is organized into different work teams led by team leaders. The school's management group consists of the principal, deputy principal, and administrative manager, together with the team leaders.
We actively work with sustainable development, safety, well-being, and learning as our prioritized goals. Gantofta School offers three elective profiles for grades 6–9: Football, Science, and Floorball.
Responsibilities
In the role at the after-school center (fritidshem) at Gantofta School, you are responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical activities together with your colleagues in the work team: planning, implementation, evaluation, and analysis based on current governing documents. We view the students' day with us as a whole, and you will be involved in creating a coherent thread throughout the day, in collaboration with other educators at the school.
You will become part of a competent work team with great drive. You will have both the conditions and opportunities to influence your work based on the group's needs and interests. After-school pedagogy is the focus throughout the day for educators at the after-school center, primarily in after-school instruction but also naturally during the school day with activities such as recess supervision and subject teaching based on competence.

The role includes teaching the subject of Visual Arts (Bild) for grades 4–6.

Qualifications
You are a certified teacher in after-school pedagogy (fritidshem) and are qualified to teach Visual Arts.
You must be able to handle digital tools effortlessly in your daily work – both with students and for documentation.
You appreciate a dynamic work environment, have an easy time building relationships, and maintain a professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You need to be confident in yourself and feel enthusiasm and inspiration for the role. It is also important that you are a positive team player with a solution-focused mindset, have the desire to learn, develop, and the courage to try new things. Clear leadership that inspires creativity and curiosity in our students is one of your most important tasks. You are a good relationship builder and accustomed to adapting teaching based on children's different prerequisites and needs, so that all students are given a chance to succeed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
