Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in Mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), or Technology (Tk) to join Neptuniskolan. As a comprehensive school teacher at Neptuniskolan, your role includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's guiding documents, the student's needs and abilities, both individually and in collaboration with subject and work teams. You deliver proven and creative teaching, finding strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. In this role, you collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified to teach Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Technology for grades 7–9. Previous experience working as a teacher is an advantage. You are clear in your leadership and skilled in communication. You have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities and a good understanding of the school's guiding documents, which you use effectively in your daily work. You have an investigative approach to your practice and adapt teaching based on the needs of the student group.

You can lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. You have good knowledge of Swedish, particularly within the mathematical and scientific technical language. You have the ability to develop your teaching based on evidence-based research and are familiar with digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work to build good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

This autumn, the school will have four parallel classes in grades 7 and 8, and five parallel classes in grade 9.
