At Färjestadsskolan, we are currently looking for a teacher for grades 1–3 who wants to play a key role in our students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

Färjestadsskolan is a school with approximately 600 students from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located in a multicultural area with good opportunities for outdoor activities and proximity to the forest. The school has 9 after-school centers for both younger and older students.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 1–3, you work with the school's youngest children. Together with teachers at the after-school centers, you spark curiosity and lay the foundation for the school's most important subjects. You develop students' knowledge and skills based on the national curriculum as well as each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with students and colleagues, you evaluate teaching to constantly strive to improve instruction, student learning, and your own professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license for grades 1–3.

As a person, we see that you are creative and proactive. You have a good ability to communicate and build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you adapt your message to the audience. Based on your clear and conscious leadership and experience, you create an open and safe environment where everyone feels included. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
