At Ilandaskolan, we are currently looking for a Swedish teacher for grades 7–9 who wants to play a key role in students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

Ilandaskolan is a secondary school and adapted primary school with approximately 540 students in grades 7 to 9. The school is located by Ilandatjärn, close to Stodeneskogen and Hertzöga IP. At our school, students and staff are organized into four work teams: one for each grade level and one for the adapted primary school. We dedicate significant time and effort to making the school welcoming and stimulating for everyone. We focus on preventive and promoting student health work.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 7–9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan teaching by setting goals, selecting methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to constantly strive to improve teaching, student learning, and your own professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license and are qualified to teach Swedish in grades 7–9.

You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents, as well as strong didactic and pedagogical skills. You lead and organize your work to create safety, study peace, and a good learning environment for our students. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You have good ability to teach the subject and possess strong leadership qualities. You have a strong interest in developing teaching methods.
