Join our team as a Social Studies (SO) teacher for grades 4–9 at IES Karlstad. This is a part-time position starting in the autumn term of 2026.
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher who wants to make a difference? We are looking for a qualified and licensed substitute teacher in Social Studies (SO). Teaching takes place in a dynamic environment where we focus on reading comprehension, literature, and language development. Here, you will have the chance to work in a strong subject team where we collaborate to continuously develop our teaching methods.
We are an international school with approximately 500 students from grades 4 to 9. Our staff includes employees from all over the world. As a Social Studies teacher, you will be a key person in our team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring teaching, as well as co-planning with your subject team. You will contribute to our positive school culture, where we combine the Swedish curriculum with an international atmosphere.
