The Centre for Clinical Research (CKF) works to stimulate research in Region Värmland, focusing on clinical and public health science research. We are a CKF team that collaborates with research leaders, postdocs, and clinical lecturers in a management group of approximately 15 people. There are currently over 100 research-active employees in Region Värmland, half of whom are doctoral students. CKF's mission is also to strengthen a scientific approach in the operations, where we collaborate with management and other employees.

Your Role

In the current position as Research Leader, you have scientific responsibility for HTA (Health Technology Assessment). You conduct evaluations of scientific material, assist in analyses, search formulations, and summaries of results and evidence. The work is carried out in collaboration with, among others, the hospital library, health economists, researchers, and other representatives in healthcare. The role includes supporting operational representatives in the implementation of systematic evidence summaries and HTA reports. You will actively participate in the regional HTA work for Central Sweden, led by CAMTÖ at Region Örebro, as well as the national network led by SBU. Through continuous environmental scanning, you follow Nordic and international HTA work. You are part of the CKF team and actively participate in our management group. There will be some scope for own research within the framework of the position's extent.

As a Research Leader at CKF, you will collaborate with driven and enthusiastic colleagues who, through their research and competence, strengthen quality work and evidence in healthcare. You will work independently on certain issues while simultaneously collaborating with researchers and doctoral students to strengthen a scientific approach in various ways, through education, seminars, benchmarking, publishing, and research. Within the responsibility for HTA, you will collaborate locally, regionally, and nationally.

The position is permanent at 50%.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for you who are licensed, have completed doctoral education, and are defended in a relevant discipline for healthcare work. You also have experience from clinical work. A B driver's license is required for the position.

It is meritorious if you have worked with systematic reviews or similar assignments. It is positive if you can demonstrate good and broad knowledge in research methodology. We appreciate that you have some pedagogical experience and good communication skills.
