At Ilandaskolan, we are currently looking for a Spanish and English teacher with qualifications for grades 7–9 who wants to play an important role in the students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

Ilandaskolan is a secondary school and adapted primary school with approximately 540 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is located at Ilandatjärn, close to Stodeneskogen and Hertzöga IP. At our school, students and staff are organized into four work teams, one for each grade level and one for the adapted primary school. We dedicate significant time and effort to making the school pleasant and stimulating for everyone. We focus on preventive and promoting student health work.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 7–9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan the teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to always strive to improve the teaching, student learning, and your professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license and qualifications in Spanish and English for grades 7–9.

You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents, as well as strong didactic and pedagogical skills. You lead and organize your work to create safety, study peace, and a good learning environment for our students. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work. Naturally, you have a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You have a good ability to teach within the subject and strong leadership qualities. You have a strong interest in developing teaching.
