Function Manager at Vinnergi

Your role as Function Manager

As a Function Manager, you will have a central role in shaping, steering, and developing the function with a focus on quality, efficiency, innovation, and customer benefit. You lead the work without direct personnel responsibility and, in consultation with the customer, you create direction, drive initiatives, and give the teams the right prerequisites.

The role involves working closely with both operations, technical teams, and other stakeholders. You are responsible for creating clear working methods, coaching employees, following up on deliveries, and identifying areas for improvement. An important part of the assignment is also to drive transformation and automation to streamline processes and strengthen delivery capability over time.

You will among other things:

  • Drive technical development and create business and customer benefit
  • Shape and further develop a scalable, efficient, and innovative function
  • Lead the work with structure and data-driven prioritization
  • Ensure operational excellence through follow-up, improvements, and clear working methods
  • Drive initiatives within transformation, automation, and efficiency
  • Support teams through coaching and problem-solving
  • Ensure stable delivery linked to strategic goals

Who are you?

We are looking for you who like to work with people and drive development, coordination, or change work in a complex organization. You do not need to have had formal personnel responsibility, but you are used to taking the lead in questions, creating progress, and getting others on board.

We believe you have experience in several of the following areas:

  • Understanding of operational delivery, processes, and improvement work
  • Experience in coordinating, leading, or driving cross-functional work
  • Experience in technical operations, preferably within telecom, infrastructure, network, IT, or similar area
  • Ability to work data-driven and use follow-up to prioritize the right efforts
  • Accustomed to working with budget and result responsibility
  • Experience in change work, transformation, automation, or efficiency
  • Good habit of collaborating with several stakeholders, such as customers, internal teams, suppliers, or technical specialists
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience from the telecom industry or have worked in assignments towards larger customer organizations, but most importantly, you have the right drive, structure, and ability to create results together with others. It is also an advantage if you are certified in project management or process improvement (e.g., Prince2, PMP, or Six Sigma).
