We are now seeking dedicated residential support workers for our LSS housing at Videvägen 3. Here, we build an environment characterized by respect, participation, and a focus on the individual's needs. As a residential support worker, you will become an important part of creating safety, structure, and quality of life for our residents – every day.

Videvägen is a group home with special support services according to the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). We are looking for you who want to work with people who have intellectual, neuropsychiatric, and psychiatric impairments in combination with physical impairments. The residents need support with care, clear pedagogy (teaching methods that make things easier to understand), and support in all daily activities.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves supporting the individual in their daily life. You work based on the residents' different needs and resources, enabling a good living situation. You provide practical support and mentor the residents so that they feel safe and included in their daily lives. The job includes planning, documenting, and following up on interventions together with the individual and colleagues. You participate in workplace meetings and method meetings. As a residential support worker, you create and work according to the residents' implementation plans. You document and continuously follow up on the support provided. You have the role of contact staff for one to two users. The job also includes cleaning and cooking.

Qualifications

Requirement of upper secondary education, such as the Care and Nursing Program or the Child and Leisure Program, or other pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of documentation and experience working with the target group, as well as experience working with clear pedagogy and low-affective handling (LAB). Working with people with various impairments requires good competence, as well as teamwork skills, maturity, flexibility, and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.

• Can utilize and strengthen the individual's resources with a pedagogical approach
• Are flexible and have good teamwork skills
• Want to contribute to developing the operations and are confident and professional in your role as a residential support worker

About the Position

2 permanent positions, day/evening/weekend, full-time.

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend according to schedule.

Start date: According to agreement.
