We are currently looking for 4 support workers who wish to support a young man in his daily life, act as his extended arm, and be present for various types of activities.

About the client

The client is a young adult male who uses a wheelchair and needs support and assistance with all aspects of his daily life.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include helping and supporting the client at home as well as during various leisure activities. You will assist with daily living tasks such as meals, hygiene, communication, physiotherapy, and outdoor activities. Bathing assistance is included.

About the position

We offer four positions with working hours ranging from 77.5% to 91.25%. The schedule covers all hours of the day, seven days a week, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Your workplace will be the client's home as well as during outdoor activities. Good bus connections to and from the workplace are available.

A significant portion of the working hours involves double staffing, meaning you will work together with a colleague during daytime hours.

Your employment will be with Assistans med Hjärtat AB. Assistans med Hjärtat AB is the data controller and has a collective agreement with Kommunal.

Who is suitable for the position? Who are we looking for?

While we prefer applicants aged 20–40, personal suitability is the most important factor.

We are looking for someone who is calm, stable, and secure, with a genuine heart for helping others. You should be able to provide positive stimulation and create added value. You must be a supportive presence in all types of situations and be social enough to assist the client with communication.

Experience in similar tasks or relevant education is an advantage, but the most crucial factor is personal chemistry.
