ABOUT THE POSITION

Do you want to work with something that truly makes a difference in people's lives? At Bättre Assistans, part of Inre Kraft, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. We are seeking 4 casual staff members who wish to work on an as-needed basis. If the match between you and the client is good, there is also an opportunity for a permanent part-time position between 40-60%.

Working hours vary between day, evening, night, and 24-hour shifts - on weekdays and weekends. Some shifts are double-staffed with two assistants.

Examples of working hours include:

• 08:00-18:00
• 18:00-08:00
• 08:00-08:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the client's life by supporting them in everything from daily routines to leisure activities, with the goal that the client, with your support, can live as independent a life as possible. Since the client has Autism, it is important that you understand the importance of creating a predictable and routine-based daily life, and that you are open to learning to apply low-affective work methods in your job. The client appreciates walks, listening to music, and watching movies, among other things.

The tasks include:

• Support with daily routines, such as common household chores
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Guidance and support in daily life

The client uses communication aids.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

To thrive with our client, you should be confident in yourself, be a good team player who works well together with your colleagues. You should be communicative and have a good ability to adjust your activity level to the client's needs. Occasionally, the work involves a lot of silence before quickly switching to activity that requires supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy working preventively.

Employment level: Casual staff on an as-needed basis, but chance of part-time position 40-60%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and approve the use of your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal data (Personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register control will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
