About the role

In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups). You will uphold the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily routine. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the client.

We are now looking for you who meets the following criteria:

• Wish to work with a 6-year-old girl living in Kalix
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Tolerate pets (there are a cat and a dog in the home)
• Are comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with teachers and parents
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required as the position involves working with children
• Are a non-smoker (during working hours)

The following qualifications are also meritorious:

• Experience in similar work
• Experience with tube feeding and autism
• Experience working with children

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts". Before the job starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will receive an agreement for a limited-time hourly employment with a fixed end date.

We are looking for someone interested in a position of approximately 80%. The role involves working during daytime, evening, and night shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shifts are scheduled 07:00–16:30 and 18:00–07:00, with waiting time occurring between 01:00–06:00.

During school weeks, the client is at school Monday to Thursday from 08:00–12:00, and you will be present to support her during the school day.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Immediate start or according to agreement. The end date for the temporary position has not yet been determined.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18. Therefore, you must present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
