We are looking for two personal assistants at approx. 30% - 80% in Piteå!

We are currently seeking two personal assistants for a cheerful, playful, and incredibly energetic boy who will soon turn 13. Here, you will find meaningful and fast-paced work where no two days are alike!

Who is our boy?

He is a true outdoor enthusiast who loves tinkering with engines, mowing the lawn, and spending time in the forests and fields. He also loves swimming (and is usually more underwater than above!), enjoys playing pranks, and has a great sense of humor and vitality.

The Role and Challenge

Behind the bubbling energy lies a complex daily life. He has a moderate intellectual disability (ID), speech disorder, autism, ADHD, as well as severe behavioral challenges and therapy-resistant epilepsy.

We are looking for someone who can stay one step ahead, read subtle cues, and maintain calm in all situations. Since he has a speech disorder, you need to be patient and creative in how you communicate.

We are looking for you who have:

• Documented experience with PBS (Positive Behavior Support) & LSB (Low-Affective Handling).
• Experience working with intellectual disabilities and speech disorders.
• Great patience, a calm demeanor, and the ability to set soft but clear boundaries.
• An active lifestyle (you enjoy being outdoors in all weather and keeping up with the pace).
• Holding a B-driver's license and having access to a car is an advantage.

It is a big plus if you:

• Have experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Have experience with epilepsy and emergency medication.
• Share his interest in mechanics/engines or simply aren't afraid to get a little oil on your hands!

About the Positions

• Scope: 30% (perfect to combine with studies or other part-time work).
• Scope: 80%
• Working Hours: Day, afternoon/evening, and weekends.
• Start Date: According to agreement.
