About the position

In the role of personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with whatever arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). You uphold the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily routine. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include assistance with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as daily chores and activities both inside and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a 68-year-old man living in Kalix
• Have good knowledge of Swedish

The following qualifications are also meritorious:

• Experience in the profession of personal assistant or equivalent work
• Experience working with mobility and assistive devices
• Share the client's interest in cooking
• Are Finnish-speaking

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

We are looking for a personal assistant who can work a summer temporary position during weeks 27-31. The employment percentage is an average of 60% during these weeks, and working hours are scheduled from 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-21:00. Shifts will be scheduled both on weekdays and weekends. The client also has night assistance; no such shifts are scheduled for this temporary position, but they may occur if extra work is needed beyond the schedule.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date

There may be an opportunity to start earlier and work as a temporary hourly employee before the summer temporary position begins. Please indicate in your application if this is interesting for you and when you would have the possibility to start. The start date for the summer temporary position is otherwise determined by agreement.

Working at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
