About the role

ANOVA is a multidisciplinary operation based on transdisciplinary grounds for treatment, development, and research within Andrology, Sexual Medicine, and Transmedicine at Karolinska University Hospital, Medical Unit Endocrinology.

Our overarching mission is to prevent sexual and reproductive ill health, sexual violence, and to investigate and treat individuals with gender dysphoria. At the clinic, doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, psychologists, and counselors work together. We collaborate around the patient in multidisciplinary teams.

The sexual medicine section receives and investigates individuals for both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment for sexual dysfunction, compulsive sexual behavior, and sexual deviation.

The clinic is currently conducting several exciting projects in both international and national collaborations and has received increased government funding to further develop and expand preventive work against sexual violence.

As an employee, you are encouraged to be interested in research and development and to participate continuously in our internal training. Initiatives to improve, develop, and present new working methods are welcome.

You will be responsible for tasks specific to the psychology profession; investigation, diagnosis, and treatment. You will be part of the group staffing the Helpline and chat, PrevenTell. As a psychologist here, you work in a team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed psychologist, preferably with a CBT focus.

Merits:

• Special knowledge or experience of treatment work with sexual medicine diagnoses.
• Experience working within psychiatry and forensic psychiatry.
• Experience with chat and/or helpline work.
• Experience in research.
• Experience in development work, forensic psychology/forensic psychiatry, sexual medicine, or CBT treatment.
