Do you want to develop your career as a psychologist together with us?
About Us
Habiliteringscenter Järva Adults is a specialist clinic belonging to the Habilitation & Health unit. We offer interventions for individuals over 18 years of age with congenital or early-onset disabilities that cause difficulties in daily life, such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment. By providing advice, support, and treatment to the patient and their network, we can prevent and reduce difficulties that a disability may entail.
At our center, you will work in a cross-professional team alongside occupational therapists, psychologists, counselors, physiotherapists, and speech therapists. We serve residents in Järva and Sundbyberg.
Our goal is to create the best possible conditions for a functional and meaningful daily life.
About the Position
As a psychologist, you are responsible for the psychological perspective in close collaboration with other professional groups at the unit. The work includes, among other things:
We are a work group with a pleasant work climate and good working conditions. We place importance on competence development and offer a structured introduction period, specific introductory training, further advanced staff training, as well as access to case supervision alongside collegial support and collaboration. Here, you will find stimulating and enjoyable work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist or are completing your PTP (Probationary Training Period) service in August/September, preferably with experience from habilitation services.
Personal suitability is highly valued. You have a strong interest in people with disabilities. You are engaged by the desire to understand patients who rarely function according to the norm, who require significant adjustments in working methods and perspective-taking, and who require individual and creative solutions to problems based on their conditions. The overarching purpose is for the patient to have the best possible daily life.
You are interested in development, both of your clinical work and of our joint efforts. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and take personal responsibility for planning, developing, and driving patient work forward in a structured manner based on our working methods. At our center, you need to be able to collaborate, be flexible, and be driven by collegial learning as you work in close collaboration with other professional categories.
Employment Type
Permanent, 75%, starting August/September or as agreed. Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
