Traveling Technician in Power Grid (0.4–130 kV) at Vinnergi Construction

Do you want to work close to the technology and be a key person in the construction and maintenance of tomorrow's power grid facilities? Do you thrive in a role where you get to travel, take responsibility, and work independently in the field? We are now looking for a traveling technician for Vinnergi Construction. Here you will work with switchgear and substation constructions in projects that contribute to a more sustainable energy system. Read more about us on our Career Page (#).

Your role as a technician

In the role of traveling technician, you work in the field with the construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of switchgear and power grid facilities within the voltage range of 0.4–130 kV. You are an important part of our projects and have a central role in ensuring quality, progress, and delivery at our customers' sites.

You work on projects throughout Central and Southern Sweden, where you drive the work forward both independently and together with colleagues. The assignments vary and may involve work in both indoor and outdoor environments in switchgear, where you are responsible for installation, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

In your daily work, you have significant responsibility for planning and executing your work, while also being an important part of the team and collaborating closely with both colleagues and customers. The role involves a lot of travel and gives you the opportunity to work in different types of projects and environments, contributing to a varied and developmental workday. With us, you also get the offer to join our growth journey as a shareholder.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience working in the power grid sector and thrive in a practical role close to the facilities. You have worked with construction, maintenance, or troubleshooting in switchgear environments and have several years of experience in the voltage range up to 36 kV. You have also worked at higher voltage levels up to 130 kV and feel confident in this type of environment.

You have an education in electricity or power grid, or alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. High voltage competence is required for the role, and it is an advantage if you have certificates such as ESA, ECY, EBR, or authorization for electrical installation. If you also have experience with relay testing, RTU, or remote control, it is a plus. The position involves travel as part of the work, and therefore a B-driving license is a requirement.

As a person, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your work and assignments. You are structured in your way of working and have the ability to plan and drive your tasks forward even in a dynamic daily routine. The role involves many contact surfaces, which means you need to be relationship-building and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and customers. You also have a business-minded approach and understand the importance of delivering quality in every assignment.

We also see that you have a desire to develop further within the power grid sector and contribute to both your own and the team's development, something we at Vinnergi value highly!

We think it is important that you are a culture carrier for Vinnergi and identify with our values H.E.R.O.

Since the role involves vital societal functions and security-classified information, you may need to pass a security clearance before employment can be conducted. For questions regarding background checks and security clearance, please contact the responsible recruiter.

Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application date. If the role sounds interesting, do not hesitate to apply today. Welcome!

We are happy to receive your application during weeks 27–32. Due to the holiday period, we will respond to candidates and begin interviews from week 33.
