We work purposefully to be part of the social services of the future. Here, we are proud to always have the child's best interest as our highest priority. We are currently implementing the 'Signs of Safety' method with the aim of strengthening the strengths and abilities of children and families, working network-based to create change, protection, and support that lasts over time.

What we offer

Here, you will receive continuous support in your professional role, including through education and experience sharing. We strive for close collaboration both within and outside the unit. You have access to regular external supervision and collegial support. Within the area, there are also two method developers focusing on internal competence development related to investigative work, as well as two transition social workers who support the transition to the new Social Services Act. During the autumn, our area will be further strengthened by two senior investigators who will work on behalf of the investigative units.

Your role

Your main tasks include investigative work and follow-up of interventions with children, young people, and their families according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). As a social secretary at the Youth Unit, you will work with identifying and utilizing the resources and abilities of children and families and strengthening them.

Your competence and experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience of authority exercise within child and youth services
• Knowledge and experience of Signs of Safety

You are engaged, resilient, and meticulous in your work, always keeping the best interests of the children in focus. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create and maintain relationships and collaborate both internally and with external actors.

A certificate of good conduct will be requested before employment becomes current.

Interviews will begin during week 29.
