The Adult Services Unit in Upplands-Bro covers several areas: reception, social assistance, integration, housing, social psychiatry, addiction services, domestic violence, and crime prevention. We are currently looking for a Social Secretary for a full-time temporary position within the Social Assistance Group. This role serves as a reinforcement in connection with the new Act on Activity Requirements.

As a Social Secretary within Social Assistance, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions regarding financial assistance. You will also support individuals in their journey towards self-sufficiency and independent living. In Upplands-Bro Municipality, residents have the option to apply for financial assistance digitally via our e-services and attach documents electronically.

Your Important Role

• To investigate and process applications for financial assistance in accordance with the Social Services Act.
• To work towards the individual's opportunities for self-sufficiency based on individual plans.
• To collaborate with other partners, both internally and externally.

We are looking for you who

• Hold a degree in Social Work or another education we assess as equivalent.
• Have experience from previous work within the social services.

As a person, you are flexible and enjoy collaborating with others. You have the drive to work in a structured manner and possess a genuine interest and aptitude for social work. You are a confident individual with good communication skills, both verbal and written.

About the Position

The position is a temporary contract until January 27, 2031, with a possible extension. Start date is by agreement.
