About the position

We are currently looking for two personal assistants for a wheelchair-bound man living in Herräng. The positions are hourly contracts for work on an as-needed basis and to cover for regular staff absence, but with the chance for more work during the summer period. We are looking for someone interested in working during July. Your tasks will include supporting with daily routines, household chores, various types of transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing/undressing.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 10:00–15:00 and 19:00–23:00, on both weekdays and weekends.

About the client

This man has a great interest in fishing, working on cars, dining out, and watching TV. He is in his 50s and speaks for himself.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is sensitive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• Valid B-driver's license and access to your own car,
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written,
• No fur allergies, as there is a cat in the client's home.

Merits:

• Completed healthcare-related education,
• Experience in care and social services, particularly in personal assistance.

Scope: Extra/On-call. Number of positions: 2. Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the positions will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made in good time.
