Job Description
Property Caretaker / Facilities Technician
We are looking for an independent, responsible, and practical employee with broad experience in property maintenance and service work. You should have a good eye for detail and work proactively to identify needs and solve problems before they impact operations.
About the Role
As the responsible person for the facility, you have overall responsibility for the institution's property maintenance and local care. You work proactively with supervision, preventive maintenance, and practical measures to ensure that the facility's premises, equipment, and outdoor environment maintain a high standard.
You will also collaborate closely with the institution's security officer and form an important part of the preventive security work and Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA). Through your daily presence in the operation, you contribute to identifying risks, correcting deficiencies, and ensuring that premises, furnishings, and security functions meet the operation's requirements for safety and security for young people and staff.
The role requires the ability to identify needs, prioritize efforts, and drive the work forward independently. You will also collaborate with external suppliers and contractors and be responsible for following up on fault reports and measures.
