About the Client

Our client is a leading international player in the installation, service, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. Their operations are present in over 200 countries, and their facilities keep people moving every day – from residential buildings and shopping malls to some of the world's most famous structures. The position is located in the Stockholm area.

Our client is growing and is now looking for an Elevator Technician. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring the safety and operational reliability for passengers and customers. You will work with preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of existing installations, as well as planning and executing services and installations. You will operate from your own service vehicle and build close relationships with customers on-site.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform service and preventive maintenance on elevators, doors, and escalators within your assigned area.
• Responsible for planning and executing service and installations.
• Troubleshoot and proactively resolve operational disruptions to ensure high operational reliability for the facilities in your portfolio.
• Perform minor repairs to ensure continuous operation and report when major interventions are needed.
• Collaborate directly with the customer on-site and build a strong working relationship.

Who Are You?

You are an engaged professional with safety as your top priority. You have good knowledge of electricity, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics, and are comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and digital aids. You are curious, adaptable, and thrive working both independently and in teams. You communicate well and build trust in interactions with customers.

Requirements for the Position:

• Valid driver's license (Category B) (all technicians have their own service vehicle for daytime work and on-call duties).
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the role involves dialogue with customers and users.

Qualifications that are an advantage:

• Experience working as an elevator technician.
• Background as an electrician and/or mechanic.
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Application Process:

The position is full-time (100%), with working hours from 07:00 to 16:00. Start date is negotiable. The role includes an on-call duty every sixth week, meaning you will also resolve urgent operational disruptions during evenings and weekends after regular working hours.
