Omexom in the Stockholm region is growing! We are now looking for more colleagues who want to help develop the energy infrastructure of the future.
We are now strengthening our "Grid and Station Maintenance" department with several Distribution Electricians.
As a Distribution Electrician, you will become part of a high-performing team with responsibilities in fault repair, maintenance, and projects for local and regional grids. We handle emergency fault repairs as well as planned maintenance work involving cables, overhead lines, and substations, ordered by customers in Greater Stockholm.
ABOUT THE ROLE The position of Distribution Electrician in fault repair, maintenance, and projects covers work under our operation and maintenance agreement. You will work, among other things, with emergency fault repairs and planned maintenance of cable and overhead lines in low and medium voltage networks, as well as regional grids, ordered by our customers in Greater Stockholm.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in cable cabinets, network stations, cable, and overhead line networks.
- Safely work with high- and low-voltage cables, including laying, assembly, splicing, and end termination.
- Conduct risk assessments before each new task.
- Document and report on completed work.
- Communicate with customers, the control center, colleagues, and supervisors.
- On-call duty is included in the position.
The position reports to the Group Manager and is based in Stockholm. You will work from home, with the majority of your work taking place in the field. This is a permanent position with a probation period of six (6) months, with a start date as soon as possible.
The position is security classified. In accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585), a register check and security interview will be conducted prior to employment.
YOUR PROFILE
As a Distribution Electrician at Omexom, you should have several years of experience from the construction and maintenance of power lines/overhead lines, troubleshooting and repair of electrical networks, cable cabinets, and network stations, as well as replacing older lines or similar work within the energy sector.
You are professionally trained in distribution electronics, ESA, and have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and a valid Class B driver's license.
